SupportFinity™ is looking for an experienced Job Site Superintendent for residential construction in San Jose, California. You will oversee the construction phase of custom home renovations with a strong focus on quality craftsmanship and sustainable practices.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in high-end residential construction, excellent project management and communication skills, and the ability to interpret blueprints. A competitive salary range of $120,000 to $150,000 per year is offered along with health care and retirement benefits.

Job Site Superintendent (Residential Construction)

Duties And Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the construction phase of custom home renovations
• Effective design interpretation and layout
• Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines to ensure successful project outcomes
• Manage subcontractors and other project personnel to ensure quality work and adherence to project schedules
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Work collaboratively with architects, designers and engineers, to identify and address design and construction issues
• Manage all aspects of the site, including material deliveries, site cleanliness, and site safety
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide project updates and ensure satisfaction
• Ensure that project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project plans, are complete and accurate

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required, with additional trade school or apprenticeship training preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in high-end custom residential construction in the San Francisco Bay Area
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management software such as Procore
• Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
