Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent on the South Shore of Massachusetts to lead day-to-day field operations on complex multifamily, healthcare, and commercial projects.

You will coordinate with the Project Manager, subcontractors, owners, and architects, maintaining schedules, quality, safety, and project closeout from mobilization to handover.

Qualifications

• Lead all day-to-day field operations on assigned construction projects.

• Lead meetings and ensure safety, quality, and progress.
• Read and interpret plans, specs, submittals, and RFIs.

• Identify schedule conflicts and develop solutions.
• Work with PM on budget, schedule, and execution.
• Maintain daily reports and project documentation.
• Coordinate deliveries, site logistics, and material handling.
• Manage punch list and project closeout.
• Mentor Assistant Superintendents and field staff.

• Serve as a leader and mentor to Assistant Superintendents and other field staff

What They're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Lead Construction Superintendent
• Commercial General Contractor experience
• Experience with multifamily, healthcare, commercial, academic, or similar projects
• Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequencing
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents
• Strong understanding of construction safety and quality standards
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades
• Strong scheduling and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Procore or similar construction management software experience
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Massachusetts construction experience
