Job summary

Structure Tone Philadelphia, part of the STO Building Group, seeks a Superintendent for interior projects across Philadelphia. You will oversee field coordination, quality control, and day-to-day supervision of subcontracted crews to ensure timely, cost-effective project delivery.

Responsibilities include scheduling, progress reviews with PM and clients, safety enforcement, subcontractor direction, QA/QC, and compliance with client specs across ground-up work.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of field experience.
  • Experience should include some supervisory responsibility as a General Foreman, Field Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.
  • Well-developed, communications, interpersonal, organizational and teamwork skills are required.

  • Prepares the project schedule, maintains reports describing project status.
  • Responsible for field coordination, quality control and day-to-day supervision of subcontracted work forces.
  • Reviews progress with the Project Manager and client representatives; large projects may have multiple Superintendents.
  • Ensures safety standards and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others when operating tools and equipment.
  • Directs subcontractor activities within ground-up construction projects.
  • Analyzes manpower, material and equipment requirements; interfaces with others as designated by supervising superintendent.
  • Implements and enforces field policies, procedures and related work rules.
  • Prepares reports and forecasts and keeps supervisors informed on progress.
  • Coordinates Lock-out Tag-out with responsible subcontractors of utilities (Nitrogen, Vacuum, Compressed Air, RODI, Steam).
  • Manages QA/QC and understanding of client engineering specifications.

Structure Tone Philadelphia, part of the STO Building Group, is seeking a Superintendent for our interior's projects throughout Philadelphia. The Superintendent is responsible for the timely and cost-effectivefieldcoordination, qualitycontrolandday-to-daysupervision of subcontracted work forces for construction projects.

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
  • Prepares the project schedule, maintains reports accurately describing project status
  • Responsible for the timely and cost-effectivefield coordination, qualitycontrolandday-to-daysupervision of subcontracted work forces for construction projects
  • Reviews status and project progress with the Project Manager and client representatives on a regular basis. Large projects include multiple Superintendents.
  • Ensures safety standards and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others when operating tools and equipment.
  • Directs sub-contractor activities within ground up construction projects
  • Analyzes manpower, material, equipment requirements, and interfaces the requirements with others as designated by supervising superintendent.
  • Implements and enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction Management
  • Prepares reports and forecasts, as required, and keeps supervisors informed on progress of overall assigned activities
  • Ensures safety standards and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others when in the operational area, tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely.
  • Coordination of Lock-out Tag-out with responsible subcontractors of utilities such as Nitrogen, Vacuum, Compressed Air, RODI, and Steam
  • Manage QA/QC and understanding of client engineering specifications or requirements.
