Pavarini McGovern, part of the STO Building Group, is seeking a Senior Superintendent to oversee field coordination, quality control, and day-to-day supervision of subcontracted work for commercial projects in the New York area.

The role requires 10+ years of field experience, DOB Superintendent license, and strong leadership with safety and schedule management responsibilities. Salary ranges from $250,000 to $285,000 with extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of field experience in commercial projects.
• Commercial and mid-highrise construction experience preferred.
• Experience with supervision as a Superintendent.
• Well developed communication, interpersonal, organizational and teamwork skills are required.
• DOB Superintendent license required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the project schedule and maintains accurate status reports.
• Responsible for field coordination, quality control and day-to-day supervision of subcontracted work forces.
• Reviews status and progress with the Project Manager and client representatives; large projects may have multiple Superintendents.
• Ensures safety standards and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others when operating tools and equipment.
• Directs sub-contractor activities within pharma projects.
• Analyzes manpower, material, and equipment requirements and interfaces them with supervision.
• Implements and enforces policies, procedures and related work rules.
• Prepares reports and forecasts and keeps supervisors informed on progress.
• Ensures safety in the operational area and proper tool/equipment operation.

Pavarini McGovern, part of the STO Building Group, is seeking a Senior Superintendent responsible for the timely and cost-effective field coordination, quality control and day-to-day supervision of subcontracted work forces for construction projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepares the project schedule, maintains reports accurately describing project status
• Responsible for the timely and cost-effective field coordination, quality control and day-to-day supervision of subcontracted work forces for construction projects
• Reviews status and project progress with the Project Manager and client representatives on a regular basis. Large projects include multiple Superintendents.
• Ensures safety standards and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others when operating tools and equipment.
• Directs sub-contractor activities within pharma projects
• Analyzes manpower, material, equipment requirements, and interfaces the requirements with others as designated by supervising superintendent.
• Implements and enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction Management
• Prepares reports and forecasts, as required, and keeps supervisors informed on progress of overall assigned activities
• Ensures safety standards and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others when in the operational area, tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of field experience in commercial projects.
• Commercial and Mid-Highrise construction experience is preferred.
• Experience should include some supervisory responsibility as a Superintendent.
• Well developed, communications, interpersonal, organizational and teamwork skills are required
• DOB Superintendent license required.

Salary Range: $250,000 – $285,000
