Job summary

Actalent seeks a Traveling Superintendent to oversee mid-level data center construction projects focused on core and shell delivery. You will manage field activities, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure scope, schedule, and quality are met in a commercial construction setting.

You will collaborate with project managers, engineers and field teams to resolve issues, maintain momentum, and enforce safety and quality standards on site. This is a fully onsite, contract role based in West Fargo, ND.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial construction, specifically data center projects.
• Hands-on core and shell construction experience for large facilities.
• Demonstrated project management background in construction.

Job Description

This role oversees mid-level data center construction projects with a focus on core and shell delivery. The Data Center Project Superintendent coordinates field activities, manages subcontractors, and ensures projects meet scope, schedule, and quality expectations within a commercial construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations for data center construction projects, with a primary focus on core and shell work.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to ensure work aligns with project plans, specifications, and schedules.
• Support overall project management activities, including planning, sequencing, and monitoring construction progress.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
• Monitor quality and safety on site, ensuring all work meets required standards and complies with relevant regulations.
• Assist in tracking project milestones and reporting progress to internal stakeholders.
• Help manage project documentation related to field activities, including logs, updates, and status reports.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in commercial construction, specifically within data center projects.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of West Fargo, ND.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58.00 - $58.00/hr.
