Job summary

Rise Technical seeks a Superintendent to lead field operations for tenant fit-out in a live hyperscale data center in North Dakota. You will oversee critical power, cooling, racks, and MEP systems, coordinating a wide network of subcontractors and engineers to ensure safe, on-time delivery.

You must have prior experience in large-scale tenant fit-out and be willing to travel and work on-site in North Dakota, with a focus on safety, quality, and schedule discipline.

Qualifications

• Strong background as a Superintendent on large-scale tenant fit-out or industrial projects.
• Proven experience overseeing interior build-out, MEP coordination, or complex systems installation.

Superintendent - Data Center Tenant Fit Out

North Dakota

Total Compensation: $250,000–$300,000 + Progression + Fantastic Benefits Package (Medical, Dental, and Vision included)

Are you a Superintendent with tenant fit-out experience in complex, high-constraint environments? Are you looking for the opportunity to lead field operations on one of the highest-profile hyperscale data center programs in the U.S.?

This is a rare opportunity to join a leading national contractor delivering a major tenant fit-out package as part of a multi-billion dollar data center campus development in North Dakota. You will take responsibility for the field execution of interior build-out - critical power, cooling, racks, MEP tie-ins, and all the systems that transform a powered shell into an operational data hall.

The company is a highly respected contractor specialising in large commercial, industrial, data center, and mission-critical builds. With significant growth across its data center division, it is now seeking a Travelling Superintendent to lead site operations, coordinate with project teams, and ensure safe and efficient delivery of tenant fit-out scopes.

Your background could come from a range of complex facility environments, including:

• Data centers and hyperscale colocation facilities.
• Semiconductor and microelectronics fabrication facilities.
• EV, battery, and other gigafactory developments.
• Life sciences, pharmaceutical, or cleanroom manufacturing plants.
• Aerospace and defense production facilities.
• Clean technology, renewable energy, or green-hydrogen plants.
• Large-scale industrial or process facilities involving complex MEP systems.

The Role:

• Lead field operations for tenant fit-out inside an active hyperscale data center.
• Manage installation of critical power (UPS, PDUs), cooling (CRAC/CRAH, chilled water), racks, and MEP systems.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trade partners, vendors, engineers, and project management teams.
• Enforce safety, security, and quality standards in a high-constraint, occupied facility.

The Person:

• Strong background as a Superintendent on large-scale tenant fit-out, industrial, or advanced manufacturing projects.
• Proven experience overseeing interior build-out, MEP coordination, or complex systems installation.
• Experience working on complex facilities such as data centers, semiconductor, battery, pharmaceutical, aerospace, energy, industrial, or mission-critical projects.
• Comfortable working in occupied facilities with live operations nearby — precision and sequencing matter.
• Willingness to travel and work full-time on-site in North Dakota.
