Job summary

ProSource Group is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field delivery of a major ground-up residential project in Manhattan. This hands‑on role requires strong leadership to drive site operations, subcontractor coordination, safety, schedule and quality through to completion.

The successful candidate will report to the Director of Operations, work closely with the Project Manager and site team, and be based fully on-site in Manhattan.

Qualifications

• Current Superintendent or Senior Superintendent with ground-up residential experience.
• Proven track record delivering projects valued at $30 million or above.
• Ability to work fully on-site in Manhattan.
• Strong leadership, safety and schedule-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for day‑to‑day site operations.
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors, trade sequencing and site logistics.
• Drive the construction schedule, look‑aheads and recovery plans where required.
• Maintain high standards of site safety, quality control and housekeeping.
• Review drawings, RFIs, submittals and field changes with the project team.
• Lead subcontractor and site‑coordination meetings.
• Coordinate deliveries, inspections, testing and approvals.
• Identify site issues early and work with the Project Manager to resolve them.
• Maintain daily reports, progress records and clear communication with the wider team.
• Support project closeout, punch‑list completion and handover.

A well-established New York general contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field delivery of a major ground-up residential project in Manhattan.

The project is a 20-storey residential development currently out of ground. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who can take control of site operations, subcontractor coordination, safety, schedule and quality through to completion.

The successful candidate will report to the Director of Operations and work closely with the Project Manager, wider site team, consultants and subcontractors.

• Experience delivering projects valued at $30 million or above.
• Strong field leadership, trade coordination, safety and schedule‑management capability.
• Able to work fully site‑based in Manhattan.
• NYC high‑rise residential experience is highly desirable.
• Base salary of $220,000-$230,000.
