Job Details:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendents in Denver and Fort Collins. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, including but not limited to, managing on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to plans and specifications, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. This role is not for the faint-hearted; it requires a strong leader who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously, make critical decisions under pressure, and ensure the highest level of workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
  • Review and interpret building plans and specifications to ensure project is built according to design.
  • Apply value engineering principles to maximize project efficiency and profitability.
  • Utilize life cycle costing techniques to estimate the total cost of a project over its useful life.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of proven working experience in construction management.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
  • Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
  • Understanding of all facets of the construction process, including competency in reading and interpreting building plans and specifications.
  • Familiarity with construction management software packages.
  • Ability to plan and see the “big picture”.
  • Competent in conflict and crisis management.
  • Leadership and human resources management skills.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.
  • BSc/BA in engineering, building science, or relevant field.
  • Professional certification in Project Management Institute's (PMI) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) will be considered a plus.
