Job summary

MPI is seeking a Podium Multifamily Superintendent to lead on-site field operations for luxury podium multifamily projects. The role reports to the Senior Superintendent and Project Leadership, managing safety, quality, and schedule performance.

You will coordinate with Owners, Architects, Engineers and Contractors, supervise subcontractors, drive schedules, and ensure compliance with regulations. This position offers competitive pay, vehicle allowance, strong bonus potential, and long-term

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience in multifamily construction.
• Demonstrated experience delivering ground-up podium multifamily, mixed-use, or wrap-style residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of concrete structures, wood framing, building systems, and multifamily construction sequencing.

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities for podium multifamily projects from site mobilization through project completion
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to ensure schedule adherence and productivity targets are achieved
• Enforce safety standards and maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies
• Coordinate inspections, permits, and interactions with local authorities and third-party consultants
• Monitor project quality, ensuring all work meets design specifications and company standards
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Owners, Architects, and Engineers to proactively resolve construction challenges
• Drive project schedules through detailed planning, subcontractor coordination, and milestone tracking

Job Description

The Podium Multifamily Superintendent will report to the Senior Superintendent and Project Leadership team while maintaining overall responsibility for field operations, safety, quality, and schedule performance on assigned projects.

For The Podium Multifamily Superintendent We Are Seeking

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience in multifamily construction
• Demonstrated experience delivering ground-up podium multifamily, mixed-use, or wrap-style residential projects
• Strong knowledge of concrete structures, wood framing, building systems, and multifamily construction sequencing
• Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain aggressive construction schedules
• Experience overseeing projects valued between $30M and $150M+
• Strong understanding of construction safety programs and OSHA requirements
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to foster positive relationships with ownership groups, consultants, and trade partners
