Job summary

We Search People is seeking an experienced Residential Superintendent to lead field operations for luxury custom homes in the DFW market, with a primary focus on Frisco. This hands-on role requires delivering $4MM+ residences to the highest standards of quality, craftsmanship, schedule and client expectations.

• Manage the day-to-day construction activities of high-end custom homes.
• Oversee projects valued at $4MM+ from pre-construction through completion.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, trades and vendors on site.
• Maintain construction schedules and ensure projects remain on track.
• Conduct regular quality-control inspections and ensure work meets the required standards.
• Review plans, specifications and construction details to identify potential issues before they impact the project.
• Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with applicable building codes and regulations.
• Manage site logistics, materials, deliveries and sequencing of trades.
• Identify and resolve construction issues quickly and effectively.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised job site.
• Communicate regularly with Project Managers, clients, architects, designers and trade partners.
• Track progress and provide accurate updates on schedule, quality and outstanding items.
• Lead punch-list and close-out activities through to final completion.
• Represent the builder professionally with clients and project stakeholders.

Location: DFW, TX — Primary focus on Frisco

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 per annum, dependent on experience and expectations

Position: Full-time | 100% Field Based

We are seeking an experienced Residential Superintendent to join a highly respected luxury custom home builder, overseeing the construction of exceptional high-end residences across the DFW market, with a primary focus on Frisco.

This is a hands-on, field-based role for an experienced construction professional who understands what it takes to deliver $4MM+ custom homes to the highest standards of quality, craftsmanship, schedule and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day construction activities of high-end custom homes

About You

We are looking for a seasoned luxury residential Superintendent who is comfortable taking full ownership of the field operations on complex, high-value custom homes.

You will ideally have:

• Proven experience running high-end custom residential projects valued at $4MM+


• A strong background in luxury/custom home construction


• Demonstrable experience managing multiple subcontractors and trades


• Excellent knowledge of residential construction methods, sequencing and quality standards


• Strong understanding of plans, specifications and architectural details


• Exceptional attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship


• The ability to anticipate problems and proactively find solutions


• Strong communication and leadership skills


• The confidence to hold trades accountable for quality, schedule and workmanship


• Excellent organisational and time-management skills


• A professional approach to working with discerning homeowners and project teams


• Knowledge of the DFW luxury residential market, particularly Frisco, is highly desirable
