Job summary

AbbVie seeks a Transparency Compliance Analyst in Puerto Rico to monitor and reconcile transactions for Sunshine Act compliance and AbbVie policy adherence. You will manage transfers of value reporting, support audits, and keep data accurate for regulatory submissions.

The role requires solid accounting knowledge, SAP proficiency, and bilingual English/Spanish collaboration with US counterparts. Travel is minimal; a strong attention to detail is essential for timely, compliant reporting.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting/financial analysis experience, preferably with Transparency reconciliations in pharma using SAP.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel; proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and SAP.
• Knowledge of finance and accounting practices.
• Extreme attention to detail; ability to perform insights and solve problems.
• Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and multitask to meet reporting deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, written communication and presentation skills; ability to build consensus across functions.
• Independent worker with initiative and a collaborative team spirit; high integrity; compliance with policies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and reconcile transactions to ensure Sunshine Act compliance and AbbVie policy adherence.
• Ensure accurate reporting of Transfers of Value to reportable HCPs and HCOs for Puerto Rico.
• Meet monthly, quarterly and annual transparency reporting deadlines with clean data.
• Perform weekly data scrubbing for submissions into the reporting system.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Sunshine Act transparency requirements.
• Serve as Special Category Approver in SAP for Sunshine Act transactions.
• Provide day-to-day support for Sunshine Act transparency processes and audit documentation.
• Assist in developing and delivering training on transparency policies.
• Support event reporting and annual certification processes.
