Job summary

City of Chandler Sunset Library is seeking a Library Branch Manager to lead daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure exemplary service for library patrons. This 40-hour position includes evenings and weekends on a rotating basis with branch staff.

The ideal candidate will have a MLS degree or library science background, several years of library experience with supervisory responsibilities, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Library Science or related degree.
• 5 years of library experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee daily library branch operations.
• Coordinate assigned library services and programs.
• Ensure high-quality patron services and access to library resources.
