Job summary

Life Time, Inc. in Gilbert, AZ is seeking an Aquatics Lifeguard who prioritizes safety and delivers friendly, member-focused service. You will monitor indoor and outdoor pools, assist with water slides, and support aquatic events like Dive in Movies and Poolabalooza.

Responsibilities include greeting members, rescuing swimmers when needed, enforcing safety rules, and keeping the pool area clean and safe. Current StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, CPR/BLS, First Aid are required, with ability to swim 300

Qualifications

• Working toward a High School Diploma or GED.
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid Certified (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires or within 1st year, whichever is first)
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute.
• Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping.
• Ability to routinely bend to raise more than 20 lbs.
• Preferred: 6 months of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with Members.
• Rescues swimmers in danger of drowning and administers first aid.
• Ensures swimmers are aware of potentially dangerous swim areas and activities.
• Keeps the pool area clean and orderly to ensure the safety of the Members.
