Job summary

Life Time is seeking an Aquatics Lifeguard to ensure pool safety for indoor and outdoor facilities. You will monitor decks, assist with events like Dive in Movies and Poolapalooza, and provide exceptional member service in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include Lifeguard certification (StarGuard Elite) with BLS/First Aid, ability to swim 300 yards, tread water for 1 minute, and lift up to 20 lbs, all while maintaining a welcoming, safety-first attitude.

Qualifications

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid certified (or bridge to StarGuard when expiring).
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute.
• Ability to retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim to the top.
• Ability to routinely bend to raise more than 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with Members.
• Rescues swimmers in danger of drowning and administers first aid.
• Ensures swimmers are aware of potentially dangerous swim areas and activities.
• Keeps the pool area clean and orderly to ensure the safety of the Members.
