Job summary

South Seas, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, is seeking an experienced Breakfast & Lunch Server to join Beach House on Captiva Island, FL. This full-time AM role delivers attentive, friendly service during breakfast and lunch and contributes to a welcoming dining experience for guests.

The ideal candidate has breakfast-service experience, thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume resort setting, and can work with menus, POS systems, and guest interactions to ensure memorable experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have valid driver's license.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to hold this role, serving/alcohol in FL.
• Breakfast restaurant serving experience preferred; upscale resort or hospitality experience is a plus.
• Experience using POS systems preferred.
• Alcohol awareness certification or ability to obtain required (can obtain through South Seas).
• Food Handlers Certification or ability to obtain required (can obtain at South Seas).

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service during breakfast and lunch.
• Greet guests, take orders, and enter into POS system.
• Demonstrate knowledge of menus, ingredients, and modifications; offer recommendations.
• Serve accurately and maintain service standards.
• Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs; keep stations clean and stocked.
• Handle guest checks and payments; complete side work as assigned.
• Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and alcohol service requirements.
• Support team during busy periods.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
