Job summary

Northbridge Communities is seeking a Kitchen Crew member for Sundays, 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, in a warm senior living environment. You’ll work closely with the Culinary Director to prep, serve, and maintain clean, safe dining areas while engaging with residents in a friendly manner.

No restaurant experience required—we’ll train you. Flexible scheduling and growth opportunities are part of our culinary family.

Qualifications

• No prior restaurant experience required; will teach if you’re eager to learn.
• Open to changing roles on the fly.
• Stay positive, even when busy, to keep things happy.
• Be patient and understanding with residents’ requests.
• Notice when things need to be cleaned; help keep dining area tidy and safe.

Responsibilities

• Prep food as needed per the Culinary Director.
• Talk to residents in a friendly way, share the daily menu, and ensure satisfaction.
• Serve dishes to residents in a kind manner.
• Assist in cleaning pots, pans, and keeping the kitchen area clean and orderly.
• Keep the kitchen and dining room clean and follow rules to keep the food safe.
• After each meal, reset the Dining Room and take pride in its appearance.
