Job summary

The Northbridge Companies is seeking a friendly Kitchen Crew member for Sundays 3pm–7pm at our senior living community. You will support dining room and kitchen operations, helping ensure dishes are prepared, served, and cleaned up efficiently alongside the Culinary Director.

No prior restaurant experience is required—training is provided. This role emphasizes teamwork, a positive attitude, cleanliness, and safe food handling in a warm, resident-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Be open to changing roles on the fly.
• Stay positive, especially when it's busy.
• Be patient and understanding with residents.
• Notice when things need to be clean and safe.
• Willing to learn even if you've never worked in a restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Prep food as needed per the Culinary Director.
• Talk to residents in a friendly way, share the daily menu, and make sure they're happy.
• Serve dishes to our residents in a kind manner.
• Assist in cleaning pots, pans, and keeping the kitchen area clean and orderly.
• Keep the kitchen and dining room clean and follow rules to keep the food safe.
• After each meal, set up the Dining Room again and take pride in how it looks.
