Job summary

The Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization (IRCO) in Portland, OR, seeks a Russell SUN Site Manager to lead SUN Community School efforts at Russell Elementary. You will mobilize community resources to provide academic support, social-emotional development, enrichment, resource navigation, family involvement, and volunteer coordination.

This on-site, full-time role requires program budgeting, outreach, partner coordination, supervision, and timely reporting to Multnomah County SUN Service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Minimum 1-2 years of work experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the principal, school staff, and families to regularly survey the needs and interests of the school community.
• Develop SUN activities integrated in the School Improvement Plan to support student achievement, parent engagement, and outreach.
• Complete program reports and data entry requirements for Multnomah County and other funding sources.
• Lead SUN Leadership Team and coordinate staffing and volunteers to deliver programs.
• Manage program budget and develop partnerships with vendors and funders.
