Job summary

El Programa Hispano Católico is seeking a Highland Elementary SUN Site Manager to run the SUN Community School program at a Multnomah County school in Oregon. You will partner with the principal, staff, families, and partners to deliver academics, enrichment, recreation, and social services.

The role requires bilingual Spanish/English capability, supervisory experience, and an associate's degree with at least 1 year of relevant work with youth or families.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual (Spanish/English) and bicultural responsive.
• Ability to communicate concisely and effectively in Spanish and English (verbal and written).
• Associate's degree in public service, social work, education, or related field preferred.
• Education or curriculum development experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children, youth, and/or families is required.
• Experience and knowledge working with and organizing in Latinx/Communities of Color.
• Demonstrate strong supervisory and coaching skills.
• Must be able to organize/prioritize work with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead the SUN Community School Extended-Day and Summer programming at the assigned school.
• Develop culturally diverse core services addressing academics, enrichment, recreation, leadership, and social services.
• Oversee data entry, records and required reports in compliance with funders and standards.
• Build relationships with school administration, community partners, and families.
• Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate temporary activity leaders; supervise staff development.
• Ensure communication and collaboration with funders and school partners.
