Job summary

IRCO is seeking a Russell SUN Community School Site Manager to mobilize community resources and lead SUN programming at Russell Elementary School in Portland, OR. This role coordinates budgeting, outreach, and partner services to deliver after-school and family engagement activities.

As the SUN Site Manager, you will supervise staff, ensure timely reports for Multnomah County SUN, and collaborate with school leadership to align activities with student needs and program contracts.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Minimum 1-2 years of work experience
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the principal, school staff, and families to regularly survey the needs and interests of the school community.
Develop SUN programming that aligns with those needs and interests.
Be able to complete, in a timely manner, program reports for Multnomah County and other funding sources.
Train and supervise new employees, including volunteers, and ensure effective SUN operations.
Develop and manage SUN program budgets and ensure contract deliverables are met.
