SUMMER - Youth Development Specialist (Part-Time)
Fort Worth & Arlington Branches

We are seeking Summer Youth Development Specialists to join our team for the upcoming summer season. As a Youth Development Specialist, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to young people in our community. You will work with a team of professionals to create a safe and engaging environment for youth to learn and grow. The Club experience focuses on three priority outcomes: Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Positive Citizenship.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities for youth
  • Provide guidance and support to youth in a positive and respectful manner
  • Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all youth
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure the success of the program

This is a part-time position for the 2025 summer season (May 27th to August 5th).

Requirements

Education and work experience requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
  • Minimum 6 months experience working with youth

Qualifications include:

  • Available to work between the hours of 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday – Friday (Minimum 25 hours weekly)
  • Ability to complete training during the week of May 19th or before
  • Ability to be a positive role model
  • Ability to establish rapport and build relationships
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
  • Must be able to pass all required background screens and drug screens at any time
  • $14.05 per hour
