Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Full-time Welding Technology student with two semesters completed, or recent graduate (within past 12 months).
• Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Transcript required at time of application.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic welding duties in the weld shop area.
• Print Reading, fabrication and pipe plate welding.
• Operate weld shop equipment, such as a bandsaw, pipe beveling machine, press brake, and welding positioner.
• Support the annual Family Night event, including setup, participation, and cleanup, as part of departmental responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
