Job summary

Dakota Gasification Company is offering a summer internship in Beulah, ND for 2027. The temporary position focuses on basic maintenance and repair of plant electrical and instrumentation equipment in a safe, efficient manner.

Responsibilities include assisting with DCS, PLCs, temperature and vibration monitoring, VFDs, instrumentation, and control valves, along with supporting the Family Night event and general duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Enrolled as a full-time student in a two-year Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Technology program with two semesters completed, or a recent graduate.
• Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Transcript required at time of application.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the maintenance and repair of plant electrical and instrumentation equipment in a safe, logical, and efficient manner, in compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting and assist in the installation/repair/maintenance of the following: Distributive Control System, PLCs, temperature and vibration monitoring equipment, VFDs, instrumentation, and control valves.
• Support the annual Family Night event, including setup, participation, and cleanup, as part of departmental responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
