Job summary

RESPEC Inc. is seeking a temporary part-time water resources engineering intern for the Denver, CO office for summer 2027.

You will support planning, design, and construction of water resources projects across stormwater, water, and wastewater domains, with interdisciplinary collaboration. Responsibilities include hydrologic/hydraulic analyses, report preparation, AutoCAD drafting, GIS analysis, and field work.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil or water resources engineering; junior/senior or recent graduate encouraged.
• AutoCAD or GIS coursework/experience.
• Valid driver\u2019s license and ability to perform field work.
• Strong problem-solving and math, with spreadsheet skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, calculations and design.
• Prepare reports, figures, and technical documents.
• Assist CAD drafting and GIS analysis.
• Support field work and construction oversight.
