Job summary

RESPEC, seeks a civil engineering intern in our Denver, Colorado location for the summer of 2026. The internship supports planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater projects for public agencies and municipalities, with interdisciplinary work with environmental science staff.

Responsibilities include collaboration with project teams, data analysis, and use of MS Office, AutoCAD or GIS, and related tools while applying strong math and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in environmental or civil engineering with interest in water and wastewater.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with AutoCAD or GIS.
• Strong problem-solving and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater projects for public agencies and municipalities.
