Job summary

ICF's Transportation Line of Business seeks a Transportation Planner Intern to support transportation data analysis, planning studies, and related topics, contributing to important projects and future mobility solutions.

This summer internship is full-time for 10 weeks, beginning in early June and ending in early August, with hybrid work from Arlington, VA (2 days per week). Relocation or housing assistance is not provided.

Qualifications

• By start date at least 30 credit hours in transportation, environmental science, energy, public policy, or a related field
• Proficiency with word processing, presentation, virtual meeting software, and web applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
• Interest in one of the following areas: Transportation planning and policy; Transportation finance and funding; Transportation data analysis and visualization

Responsibilities

• Support drafts of project materials in collaboration with staff team members based on research of transportation-related topics.
• Contribute to the development of innovative, accurate, timely, and high quality products and services
• Provide meeting support, including preparing materials, or remote hosting and technical support through virtual platforms, taking notes, and assembling post-meeting summary documents.
