Job summary

ICF International, a global transportation consultancy, seeks a Senior Transportation Data Specialist in Washington, DC or New York area. You will plan projects, analyze freight and travel data, and perform geospatial analyses using ArcGIS to support policy and program evaluations.

You’ll build transport models, conduct statistical analyses, and create interactive dashboards with Tableau/Power BI while collaborating with clients and experts across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, transportation engineering or planning.
• 5+ years of experience in consulting in the transportation industry.

Responsibilities

• Plan and complete projects in the Washington, DC office.
• Analyze transportation data for freight and passenger travel and traffic flow.
• Perform geospatial analysis using GIS tools.
• Use ESRI ArcGIS to support analysis, visualization, and public engagement.
• Build, run, validate transportation models including crash analysis and benefit-cost.
• Analyze data with statistical methods.
• Utilize SAS, Python, R, and Excel macros.
• Create dashboards in Tableau and Power BI.
• Basic SQL and database concepts.
• Support LRTPs, TIPs, corridor studies with quantitative methods.
• Interact with clients and senior staff; develop technical reports.
