Job summary

ServiceNow, Inc. is seeking a Technical Writing Intern to join the Experience Team for a 12-week summer internship across functions.

You will create product documentation for end users and administrators, and learn to author in DITA/XML while collaborating with multiple development teams in an Agile setting. We're hiring in locations including Santa Clara, San Diego, and other areas; base pay ranges from 27.45 to 35.19 USD per hour, with equity where applicable and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Solid writing sample demonstrating research, analysis and clear prose.
• Understanding of content development life cycles and processes.
• Ability to learn highly technical products quickly using pre-release software.
• Knowledge of markup languages such as DITA/HTML/XML/SGML.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within teams and manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create product documentation for end users and system administrators.
• Author in environments, primarily DITA/XML, with guidance from teams.
• Research, write, and ensure accuracy of content for current and future releases.
• Work with multiple development teams in an Agile environment.
• Conduct peer reviews of documentation and collaborate on deliverables.
