Bechtel invites students to join its U.S. Summer Internship Program, a structured 10-week experience from mid-June to mid-August, designed to translate classroom learning into practical application with engineers on Bechtel projects.

Interns work as valued team members across Bechtel's GBUs and offices, gaining hands-on project exposure, professional development, and networking with leaders. Opportunities span across project sites and corporate environments.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four-year BS degree in Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Nuclear Engineering.
• Completed at least one year of undergraduate studies in one of the above fields.
• Eligibility to work in the US without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Willingness to relocate/travel to domestic and/or international project jobsites.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in developing functional/system analysis to define facility/system design requirements.
• Assisting in establishing means of verifying requirements implementation, including acceptance criteria.
• Assisting in the preparation of system and facility design criteria documents.
• Supporting system-level design verification, requirements verification, test requirements specification, and traceability.
• Assisting in the preparation of assessments to validate and verify implementation and traceability of requirements into design.
• Participating in technical discussions to resolve system design issues.
