Job summary

Bechtel offers a U.S. Summer Internship Program for Electrical Engineering students. This 10-week experience runs mid-June to mid-August, offering hands-on learning, professional development, and exposure to Bechtel's global business.

Interns work on real projects, gain technical skills, and interact with industry leaders while building lasting professional relationships. Assignments vary across Bechtel's GBUs and locations; candidates should be willing to relocate to domestic sites and travel

Qualifications

Enrolled in a four-year BS EE program at an accredited college or university.
Willing to relocate and/or travel to domestic and/or international project jobsites.
Eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
Be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

Review drawings for constructability and interpretation for subcontractors.
Monitor construction activities for quality, schedule adherence, and compliance.
Perform quantity takeoffs and assist with field material requisitions.
Conduct site visits and produce daily reports of work and subcontractor activities.
Coordinate input to quantity tracking and progress database.
