Job summary

Middlebury College invites applications for a temporary Instructor of Spanish in the Summer School of Spanish on the Middlebury campus in Vermont. The session runs July 5–August 18, 2022, with immersion in language and culture and daily instruction conducted exclusively in Spanish.

The successful candidate will have graduate-teaching experience in applied linguistics and teaching methodology, a PhD, and a collaborative, dynamic approach within an instructional team.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching graduate courses in applied linguistics and teaching methodology in Spanish.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work on an instructional team.
• PhD and a creative, dynamic teaching approach.

Responsibilities

• Teach graduate-level Spanish courses during the summer program.
