Middlebury College invites applications for a temporary Instructor of Russian for the Summer 2019 session on the Middlebury College campus in Vermont. The role emphasizes immersive language use, daily classroom instruction, and active student engagement in Russian.

The instructor will deliver four hours of classroom instruction and one formal office hour per day, participate in pre- and post-session assessment testing, and contribute to cultural programming, lodging and a complete meal plan

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or MA in a related field and significant Russian language teaching experience.
• Ability to work in an intensive environment with students and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide four hours of classroom instruction per day and one office hour.
• Lead immersive Russian language activities and cultural programming.
