Job summary

The CME Group Software Engineering Fellowship in Chicago offers a 10 to 12-week, paid internship embedded on a software development team. Fellows participate in the full life cycle of projects under mentorship and gain exposure to CME's coding practices and team dynamics.

Open to rising sophomores and juniors (class of 2028/2029) affiliated with CME Foundation Scholars, Star Scholars, or partner programs; hybrid experience with networking events and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in computer science or a related field.
• Passionate about technology, problem solving, and continuous learning.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Be embedded on a software development team and participate in the full life cycle of projects from inception to delivery.
• Attend technical talks and learn about CME’s coding practices and team dynamics.
• Receive mentorship from managers and build lasting connections with peers.
