Job summary

CME Group is seeking motivated students for Technology Internships in Chicago. Interns will gain exposure to ultra-low-latency trading platforms, risk systems, and front-end interfaces while contributing to real projects across back-end and full-stack domains.

These summer internships are paid, full-time roles (10-12 weeks) with a hybrid work model based in our Chicago office. Pay ranges from $21.68 to $36.10 per hour, with benefits including health coverage and mental health support.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science or a related field.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Python.
• Passionate about problem-solving and continuous learning.
• Strong communication skills.
• Detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Participate in core roles: Application Development, Cloud Infrastructure & Migration, Data Analytics, DevOps & CI/CD, Research & Proof of Concept, System Design.
• Work on projects that impact the trading ecosystem and cloud infrastructure.
