How you’ll be there for students:

Tutors will provide instructional services with expertise in reading, mathematics, and writing for students.
Responsibilities
As a tutor with Catapult Learning, you will:

  • Diagnose learning skill deficits and deliver prescribed instructional methods.
  • Coordinate with school personnel to provide services to students.
  • Communicate with parents regarding student progress.
  • Attend training sessions and deliver instructional strategies in reading, math, and writing.
  • Develop and maintain individualized lesson plans.
  • Supervise students and ensure their safety.
  • Maintain student records and files.
  • Participate in meetings and training with supervisors, teachers, and parents.
  • Manage educational materials and supplies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
What we need from you:

  • Non-licensed tutors: associate degree or higher, or at least two years of college coursework.
  • Licensed tutors: valid teaching credentials recognized by MN.
  • Background check clearance required.
  • Teaching experience preferred.
  • Belief that all children can learn.
  • Ability to use online platforms for record-keeping and communication.
  • Availability of 4.5 hours per week.
