Summer School Tutor Part-time - St. Paul, MN

How you'll be there for students:

• Be their advocate, difference maker, and mentor.

If you became a tutor to help students learn, grow, and shine, there's a place for you at Catapult Learning. With our proven curriculum and ongoing support, you can be wholly present and equipped to do what you love to do: guide and empower students to be the best they can be.

Tutors will provide contracted instructional services with the necessary educational expertise in reading, mathematics, and writing for students.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose learning skill deficits and deliver prescribed instructional methods as determined by the Company.
• Consult with school personnel to coordinate efforts in providing services to students.
• Communicate and conference with parents providing information on student progress.
• Deliver prescribed instructional methods using Company-designed materials and strategies.
• Develop and maintain individualized lesson plans.
• Ensure supervision of students, including escorting students safely to and from sessions.
• Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by the Company and authorities.
• Attend and document meetings/training with supervisors, teachers, principals, and parents.
• Maintain inventory of educational materials and supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Individuals with an associate degree or higher, or at least two years of college coursework.
• Licensed teachers with proper credentials recognized by the State of MN.
• Must complete an FBI/BCI background check.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.

Work hours: 4.5 hours per week. Flexible options available—year-round, summer, full-time, or part-time.
