Job summary

East Penn Manufacturing is seeking a Safety Intern to support the Health and Safety team. This internship provides hands-on experience with safety audits, inspections, lockout/tagout (LOTO) documentation, and safety management within a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate is a full-time undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, Safety Management, Fire Protection, Engineering, or related field, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Full-time undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, Safety Management, Fire Protection, Engineering, or related field.
• Sophomore standing or higher preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with safety audits and inspections
