Job summary

North Atlantic Industries, Inc. is seeking a Summer 2027 Intern - Quality Engineer to support the Quality organization with engineering activities that improve manufacturing performance and ensure compliance with quality requirements.

You will gain hands-on experience with failure analysis, process improvement, supplier quality, and quality-system activities while collaborating with Production and Engineering teams in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Pursue a degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Systems Engineering, or related discipline.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Communicate effectively and apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Production and Engineering teams to investigate and resolve quality issues.
• Support the evaluation and disposition of defective or nonconforming material.
• Assist with failure analysis and preparation of related technical reports.
• Participate in failure review board and continuous-improvement activities.
• Support supplier-quality activities and compliance with product specifications.
• Assist with quality audits, compliance documentation, and collection of quality data for analysis.
