D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Summer 2027 Purchasing Intern to gain hands-on experience in procurement within its growing homebuilding operations.

Interns rotate through departments, perform research, reporting, and administrative tasks, and support daily purchasing activities at various locations. Candidates should be enrolled in a four-year college and pursuing business, finance, or related fields, with strong communication, organization, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited four-year college and entering junior or senior year, or recently graduated.
• Pursuing a degree related to internship area (business, technology, finance, construction, real estate, HR, marketing, communications, operations).
• Demonstrated interest in learning about career opportunities within D.R. Horton businesses.

Responsibilities

• Support daily purchasing operations and department tasks.
• Assist with projects, research, reporting, and administrative activities.
• Learn department responsibilities, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments to understand how purchasing supports operations.
