Job summary

Superior Construction is seeking Project Engineer Interns for our Summer 2027 Internship Program in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. You will collaborate with the project management team to safely manage and execute a heavy civil construction project.

As an intern, you will learn estimating, scheduling, project controls, and reporting while gaining hands-on experience on construction plans and site coordination with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Construction or Engineering and enrolled for upcoming term.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university for the upcoming internship term.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Support project management with subcontractor/supplier coordination, material tracking, file management, document control, and progress reporting.
• Learn and perform estimating, schedule planning, project controls, and project reporting.
• Understand construction plans and interact with clients and managers professionally.
• Travel between project site and corporate office.
