Job summary

70 Superior Construction Company Southeast, LLC is seeking Project Engineer Interns for our Summer 2027 Internship Program. This internship supports the project management team on heavy civil and highway construction sites, with a focus on safe, profitable execution and hands-on learning.

You will coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, track materials, manage documents, and assist with progress reporting while learning estimating, scheduling, and project controls.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, or related field.
• Must be enrolled and taking at least one class in the upcoming semester.
• Must possess or obtain a valid state driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel between project site and corporate office.
• Knowledge of route surveying and scheduling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the project management team with subcontractor and supplier coordination.
• Track materials and manage project documentation (submittals, RFIs, and change orders).
• Maintain files and provide progress reporting.
• Learn estimating, schedule planning, project controls, and project reporting.
• Interact with clients, managers, and employees professionally.
