Granite Construction is seeking a Summer Project Engineer Intern to support construction engineering operations in Kennewick, Nampa, and Vancouver. Part-time role focusing on interpreting drawings, preparing estimates, and documenting progress.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields, with 0–2 years of relevant experience and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED and be working towards a bachelor’s degree.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to perform trigonometric calculations and work with numbers accurately.

Responsibilities

• Interpret designs/drawings for takeoffs and workforce bidding and construction.
• Prepare and distribute status reports, punch lists, and sketches showing completed work.
• Support project materials meeting specifications, delivery dates, and schedules.
