Job summary

Johnsonville, LLC invites applications for a Process Engineer Internship for Summer 2027 at the Tech Center. You will join a team supporting plant leadership to drive operational excellence across facilities, collaborating across functions to learn, contribute and grow.

You will help collect data, map processes, participate in Kaizen efforts and support daily operations with a focus on quality, safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or Operations Management (Junior/Senior preferred).
• Minimum 3.0 overall GPA.

Responsibilities

• Support and learn day-to-day plant performance processes in Reliability Excellence.
• Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, sanitation, safety, and operations to learn plant workflows.
• Participate in Kaizen projects to streamline processes, reduce waste, and boost efficiency.
• Help collect and analyze OEE and downtime for performance tracking and decision-making.
• Review standards for processes and measure performance across facilities.
• Build process maps and analyze conditions to identify improvement opportunities.
• Work independently and with multiple site Operations Teams.
• Develop knowledge of daily operations and maintain complete records.
