Job summary

Johnsonville, LLC invites energetic students to join our Process Engineer Intern Program for Summer 2027 at the Tech Center in Sheboygan Falls, WI. You will collaborate with plant leadership teams to advance operational excellence across multiple facilities, applying your engineering or operations knowledge in a hands-on setting.

You will participate in Kaizen projects, collect and analyze OEE data, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while learning from diverse functional

Qualifications

• Candidate must be working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or Operations Management.
• Junior or senior status preferred.
• Minimum 3.0 overall GPA.

Responsibilities

• Support day to day plant performance processes in Reliability Excellence.
• Gain hands-on experience with plant workflows by collaborating with production, quality, maintenance, sanitation, safety, and operations.
• Participate in Kaizen projects to streamline processes, reduce waste, boost efficiency, and enhance quality.
• Help collect and analyze OEE and downtime for performance tracking and decision-making.
• Review standards for processes and measure existing performance across facilities.
• Build process maps and analyze conditions to identify improvement opportunities.
• Work independently and with site Operations Teams.
• Develop knowledge and insight into daily operations activities.
• Maintain accurate work records in notebooks and project reports.
• Share ideas, questions, problems, and results with team members
