Job summary

P2S|CMTA invites a Mechanical/Plumbing Engineering student to join our Summer Internship, working with the Plumbing Design Studio. You will gain hands-on experience in office and field settings, contribute to client projects, and participate in real-world industry exposure, site visits, and internal training.

You will collaborate with engineers, learn CAD/BIM tools, and develop technical skills through supervised design, prototyping, testing, and documentation, while building professional

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university majoring in Mechanical or Plumbing Engineering.
• Training in Revit and/or AutoCAD is a plus; familiarity with CAD/BIM standards is expected.
• FE/EIT is a plus and helpful for progression in engineering design.

Responsibilities

• Project Support: assist the engineering team in ongoing projects and meet deadlines.
• Design and Prototyping: contribute to design by creating/modifying drawings and prototyping.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: help test functionality and reliability of solutions.
• Documentation: maintain project docs and generate progress reports.
• Collaboration: work with cross-functional teams and participate in meetings.
• Learning and Development: engage in training sessions to grow technical skills.
