Job summary

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. is offering a Summer Internship for an Operations Management Intern in 2027.

You will work with supervisors across departments to understand production flow, scheduling, inventory accountability, and quality processes, with real opportunities to identify efficiency improvements. The program emphasizes developing management skills, applying company safety policies, and completing targeted projects.

Qualifications

• Requires sophomore standing or higher and pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
• GPA 2.50 or greater.

Responsibilities

• Assist in production operations including flow, scheduling and inventory accountability.
• Identify trends and recommend plant process improvements.
• Develop management skills by leading and motivating others.
• Understand and apply safety rules and company policies to support safety, quality and production.
• Complete assigned projects.
