Job summary

Cardinal Health in Waukegan, Illinois is offering a Summer Internship Program for 2027. The Operations Intern will help partners identify and implement improved warehouse processes, document solutions for leadership, and support daily operations across receiving, packing, shipping, and storage.

Expect rigorous project work, mentorship, and leadership exposure. Start date ranges May 17 or May 24, 2027; roughly 40 hours per week for 10+ weeks, with opportunities to interview for full-time roles

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with graduation between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication and analytical skills.
• Willing to work in a warehouse environment and participate in continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site leaders to identify, analyze, and implement new or improved processes.
• Document and present solutions to leadership to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Develop, optimize, measure, and maintain performance and productivity.
