Job summary

Elanco Technology Center in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Summer 2027 Manufacturing Scientist/Technical Services Intern to join the TSMS Lab team. You will work on projects to reduce analytical variability, contribute to a manufacturing technical project, or implement new lab methods, with exposure to diverse teams and career paths.

The internship provides practical experience, networking, mentorship, housing support, and potential future opportunities for full-time roles based on performance.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Biology (Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology or other related) or Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering major.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite and a willingness to learn is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand the Animal Health Manufacturing process, document using GMP guidelines, and understand the importance of the Quality Unit
• Work within cross-functional teams to implement process or Quality Control lab improvements
• Learn about fermentation, product recovery, product finishing, or quality control
• Study design improvement processes
