Job summary

Elanco is offering a Summer 2027 Engineering Internship (Manufacturing Scientist/Technical Services Intern) at the Elanco Technology Center in Indianapolis, IN. You will contribute to TSMS Lab projects focused on reducing analytical variability and improving manufacturing processes, working with cross-functional teams in a hands-on setting.

Qualified students will be enrolled in Biology or Chemistry or Chemical Engineering programs, with strong communication and organizational skills, and

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Biology (Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology or other related) or Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering major.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Understand the Animal Health Manufacturing process, document using GMP guidelines.
• Work within cross-functional teams to implement process or Quality Control lab improvements.
• Learn about fermentation, product recovery, product finishing, or quality control.
• Study design improvement processes.
