Job summary

Elanco Animal Health in Elwood, KS is seeking a Manufacturing Associate Intern for Summer 2027. You will join the TSMS team at the Elwood manufacturing plant and work on a hands-on technical project to improve processes and support operational excellence.

Required are an engineering major and proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong communication and time-management skills are valued. Travel is around 10% to Indianapolis for openings.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Engineering major (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Process)
• Experience with Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Understand the Animal Health Manufacturing process, document using GMP guidelines, and understand the importance of the Quality Unit
• Work within cross-functional teams to implement process or Quality Control lab improvements
• Learn about quality control, mAbs production, product recovery, product finishing, or companion animal packaging
• Study design improvement processes
